An Inquest was adjourned on an ex-miner, Mr. David Howell, aged 49, of 10
Mow Cop Road, Mow Cop, who died in hospital last Thursday. Mr. Howell had
his spine crushed in a pit accident four's ago, and has been unable to work
since.

An Inquest Jury decided that a Mow Cop man, Mr. David Howell, died from injuries he received in a pit accident in 1955 was the cause of his death. This Inquest was adjourned from 22nd March. Mr. Howell died on the 17-3-60.
